UPCRC Illinois Hosts FREE Intel "Think Parallel" Workshop for Faculty

UPCRC Illinois will be hosting a FREE Think Parallel Workshop, July 21-22, 2009 at the Siebel Center for Computer Science. Organized by the Intel Academic Program, this hands-on, lab based workshop offers parallelism training for faculty who want to incorporate parallel programming into their undergraduate curriculum. Classes are taught by Dr. Clay Breshears. Intel will provide fully equipped laptops for use throughout the workshop. Although the workshop is free, Intel cannot cover travel expenses for participants.

To register for the workshop, send an e-mail to Register. Please include your name, e-mail address, institution name, phone number, and workshop dates you are registering for. Preference will be given to faculty who plan to integrate parallelism into their curriculum. The last date to register is July 6, 2009.
